SUMMER’S FIRST WAVE
Wave hello to summer at the Miami Shores Aquatic Center’s first weekend splash bash, June 7, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event features a food truck, inflatable water slide, and a raffle for a free swim lesson. Resident tickets are $7 for age 12 and under, $10 for residents age 13 and over, and $13 for guests of residents. CULTURE CRAWL TROLLEY SERVICE
In the mood for some nightlife but don’t want the hassle and expense of driving and parking? If you’re a North Bay Village resident, you’re in luck. On Thursday, June 19, and Thursday, July 17, special trolley service will allow North Bay Village residents access to Miami Beach’s vibrant cultural offerings, restaurants, and entertainment venues without parking concerns. The Culture Crawl features gallery openings, museum exhibitions, theatrical performances, and culinary experiences. The trolley runs 6-10 p.m. and the Culture Crawl runs 6-9 p.m,

BEACH CLEAN-UP
Join other ocean lovers for a beach clean-up at the Newport Fishing Pier, 16501 Collins Ave., June 14, 8-11 a.m. Bring your reusable gloves; buckets will be provided. Free parking is available in the Gateway Park Garage, 151 Sunny Isles Blvd. and the Sunny Isles Beach Shuttle will provide free transportation within Sunny Isles Beach.

CLEAN 4 CONES
World Oceans Day is June 8, and Surfside has come up with a sweet way to celebrate. On June 7 at 10 a.m., the Resort Tax Board will host Clean 4 Cones, a coastline clean-up at which participants will earn a yummy treat. The event takes place at the Surfside side of the 96th Street Beach entrance in partnership with @plasticfisherman. Bring your friends, your sunhat, your community spirit, and your sweet tooth, because Cold Stone Creamery will be there too.

YOUTH ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY SUMMIT
Teens who want to make a difference can register for the Youth Environmental Policy Summit, which will take place on June 21, 10 a.m to noon. Hosted by the Surfside Youth Council and the Office of State Sen. Shevrin Jones, the summit will feature discussions and workshops focused on environmental policy. The event will be held at 9301 Collins Ave., and participants can meet like-minded individuals and learn about ways to make a positive impact on the environment.
