Reclaim your fun and leisure time this summer and set out to experience the Biscayne Corridor in a way you've not done before. Make new memories and set out on local adventures that are new and refreshing. From experiential art installations and staycations to camping and more, here are few things to add to your summertime to-do list.

1. Good Times at The Goodtime

Most of us are way past due for some much-needed relaxation, so why not have a good time while doing that? Nightlife entrepreneur David Grutman and singer-songwriter-entrepreneur Pharrell Williams partnered up to create The Goodtime Hotel, which opened in April. Spanning an entire city block at 601 Washington Ave., the Art Deco 1930s-inspired hotel is just a few blocks from the beach and is helping Washington Avenue make a welcome return to its former glory. Guests can relax under cabanas in the 30,000-square-foot pool area while enjoying Mediterranean classics from the nearby restaurant and bar. Looking for something more low-key? Head to the hotel library to escape or – if you're feeling energetic – visit its modern outdoor gym, which boasts Peloton and MyBeast equipment. The hotel is currently offering a staycation package including valet parking and 10% off your stay. TheGoodtimeHotel.com/offers

Inspired by the Fendi Vertigo Collection, an ode to the kaleidoscopic aesthetics of the 1970s and ’90s, the newly opened Fendi Caffè – located in the Design District at 160 NE 40th St. just across the street from its namesake store – is so aesthetically pleasing, you’ll probably want to take pictures of everything. Menu items are a blend of local and Italian-favored breakfast and lunch items like paninis and affettati misti, as well avocado toast, sparkling drinks and coffees in cups stamped with the official Fendi logo. Staying inside wearing the same sweatpants – day in and day out! – became the new norm for many over the past year. Here’s your chance to wear one of the outfits you bought during quarantine with nowhere to go, and take some carefully curated selfies while you’re at it. Beat the heat with an indoor excursion to The Social Hub, located in Brickell City Centre at 701 S Miami Ave. This 3,500-square-foot interactive “content creation lab” features 20 themed studios outfitted with props, LED ring lights and backgrounds that include a cigar lounge, claw-foot tub, nightclub, flowers and neon signs broadcasting sentiments like “Livin’ My Best Life.” TheSocialHubMiami.com

The water park features a 60-foot tower with seven water slides and 4,000-square-foot kiddie pool. Soak up the sun and relax in the lazy river or test your surfing skills on the FlowRider Triple. Guests can boat, snorkel, camp, watch wildlife in their natural habitat or just take in the scenic views – deciding where you want to start could take a minute. On-site vendors include South Florida Kiteboarding, which offers rentals and lessons, and Ocean Force Adventures, where private and small group sightseeing boat tours can be planned. NPS.gov/bisc
