Miami Art Week/Art Basel Miami – the biggest visual arts extravaganza of the season – is coming back the first week of December, when the city will be transformed by at least 20 pop-up art fairs involving more than 1,200 participating galleries and museums. The week’s activities are inspired by Art Basel, the most prestigious international art fair in the world, which originated in and still happens each year in Basel, Switzerland.

Miami Mural Festival

Presented by Mana Public Arts, this new event will mark the largest mural festival for Miami, incorporating more than 500,000 square feet of wall space between the Wynwood and Flagler districts. The public art platform is working with a long list of world-renowned artists to transform these areas overnight with massive installations and a curated calendar of events. As part of its mission to increase access to public art, the murals will remain indefinitely.
